Position Summary

Monitors and audits inventory. Processes and tracks purchase orders and changes. Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Inputs data and generates audit reports.

Location : Oshawa, ON

What you will do

  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with customers.
  • Complete and update all applicable paperwork.
  • Troubleshoot all missing information and research where applicable.
  • Interact with customer employees on site.
  • Use critical thinking to overcome challenges in day-to-day operations.
  • Report and understand challenges in a detailed manner when required.
  • Follow all project instructions.
  • Interact daily with customers by phone and email.
  • Be available for weekend project work or possible out-of-town assignments when required.
  • Support all project coordination aspects of customer engagements to ensure timely execution, on budget and in keeping with the organization’s high-quality standards.
  • Manage the administrative side of project delivery, including the establishment of meetings, customer updates, conference calls, internal review sessions and other key project milestones.
  • Maintain and document the various planning tools and templates to support the project team.
  • Use WMS systems daily to complete and update applicable transactions.
  • Use WMS to ensure all activities are captured and throughput is accurate.
  • Learn and understand process flow from the floor to system to billing.
  • Interact with other departments as they pertain to the accounts in the facility.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Post-Secondary diploma, preferably in a business program.
  • 2-4 years of prior experience.
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Distribution / Warehouse experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills - proficient in Excel.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-oriented.
  • This position may require travel throughout Canada.
