Location: Oakville, Ontario (GTA)
Work Model: Hybrid, 3–4 days in office
Travel: Up to 40% across Canada and the US

The Opportunity

Our client is a complex, multi-entity organization operating across North America and is seeking a Senior Corporate Auditor to support a growing internal audit function in the GTA.

This role offers broad exposure across finance, operations, acquisitions, and governance. You will partner with business leaders, contribute to value-added audits, and support governance and risk initiatives across Canadian and US operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and execute financial, operational, and business process audits across Canadian and US operations
• Perform risk assessments, testing, and end-to-end audit execution
• Present audit findings and practical recommendations to senior management
• Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including opening balance sheet reviews
• Assist with internal control documentation, policy development, and best-practice sharing
• Support compliance with public company governance and internal control requirements
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, IT, and external auditors during year-end and special engagements
• Contribute to audit planning and periodic reporting to senior leadership

What We’re Looking For

• CPA designation required
• 4+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or a combination of both
• Experience in a public company or complex, multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of internal controls, COSO, and risk-based auditing
• Comfortable leading audits and engaging with senior stakeholders
• Willingness to travel across Canada and the US (up to approximately 40%)
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or acquisitive organizations is an asset
