Associate Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer

The DDSB is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Associate Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer of the Board . In this supervisory role, you will be a member of the senior administrative team that provides leadership to support the Board’s mission and vision through the multi‑year strategic plan.

Reporting to the Director of Education, you will provide leadership to a team of direct reports in Finance, Facilities Services, Human Resources, Transportation and Information Technology. Success leading teams and managing system‑level change initiatives is a key priority.

As part of the senior administrative team, the role serves as a member of the Director’s Executive Council and attends Board and Committee meetings. You will also provide direction, monitor, guide and ensure the efficient and effective use of fiscal resources that will enable the Board to meet its goals as outlined in the ‘Ignite Learning’ multi‑year strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Business Supervisory Officer Certificate; or
• Master’s degree, or a qualified professional (e.g. certified general accountant, certified management accountant, chartered accountant, lawyer, architect, professional engineer or professional planner) and undertakes to obtain a Business Supervisory Officer’s Certificate within two years of the appointment.
