Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic leader to support and grow our environmental team as a Senior Environmental Professional / Team Lead for Site Assessment and Remediation in the Vancouver Island Region, based in Victoria or other Island locations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide senior leadership and mentorship to McElhanney’s contaminated sites team locally, with an emphasis on developing the next generation of leaders.
• Support and manage site assessment and remediation projects.
• Engage with clients and drive business development initiatives to grow our local and Vancouver Island regional practice.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to provide comprehensive client solutions.
• Be creative, open to change, and entrepreneurial at heart.
• Provide innovative solutions within regulatory frameworks by partnering with clients, suppliers, and regulators.
• Advise internally and externally on environmental design and project planning.
• Foster relationships and manage subcontracting specialties as needed.
• Champion workplace safety and prepare and adhere to site‑specific health and safety plans.

What You’ll Bring

What We Offer

Salary range : $85,000‑165,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
