Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and experienced Pipe Technician to join our client's team in Maple Ridge, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pipe systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety. If you are a hands-on problem solver with expertise in pipe systems, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

  • Pay Rate : $ 19.00 / hour
  • Location : Maple Ridge, BC
  • Shift : Monday to Friday | 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm
  • Job type : Long Term | Full-time

  • Responsibilities :

  • Operating CNC lathes, and custom machinery to produce casing / accessories
  • Manually assembly of products or sub-items
  • Physical inventory and stock counting
  • Producing quality parts
  • Contribute ideas / input towards the growth of the company
  • Coordinating with other members of the team to fulfill orders in a timely manner
  • Organizing material and orders to increase efficiency within the department
  • Efficiency planning, setup, safety checks, operation, maintenance, programming
  • Gluing plastic sub-assemblies, hand drilling / riveting, inspecting, placing caps / covers on parts, installing o rings inside grooves
  • Checking parts with samples, gauges, and measuring equipment
  • Accurate counting and planning relevant to current and other orders
  • Organization while in production stages
  • Cleaning work area after use
  • Maintenance of equipment and department
  • Watching physical levels of usable goods, and sellable goods. Working with team and managers to maintain accuracy of stock
  • Reporting unsafe conditions and give input on issues and improvement
  • Qualifications :

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • No experience needed, but is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude, shop experience preferred
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Lifting, kneeling, reaching, and bending are required
