What You'll Do :

  • Schedule and Coordinate Practicum Placements : Work closely with students and clinical partners to schedule and confirm placements in a timely manner.
  • Develop New Partnerships : Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and practicum hosts, ensuring a wide variety of placement options for students.
  • Manage Practicum Documentation : Ensure all practicum documents are completed accurately and saved in students’ files for compliance.
  • Support Students' Certification Needs : Arrange CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe certifications for students, and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide Ongoing Support : Regularly check in with students during their practicum to ensure their success and address any concerns that arise.
  • Who You Are :

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a student services environment or within educational institutions, with a focus on scheduling, coordination, administration and student support is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with students, faculty, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and experience with scheduling or CRM systems is an asset.
  • A detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring successful practicum placements and student success.
