Job description

Responsibilities will include :

  • Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
  • Maintaining staff levels by recruiting, selecting, developing personal growth opportunities and training employees
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment where employees well being is paramount
  • Achieving results by communicating job expectations by planning, monitoring and appraising performance through talent management including coaching and disciplining for success and improvement
  • Coordinating department programs and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
  • Establishing strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operational information, identifying and evaluating trends and options, choosing a course of action, defining objectives, evaluating outcomes
  • Accomplishing financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, controlling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions with regular evaluation of expenses
  • Maintaining exceptional service by enforcing quality customer interactions, solving problems, and mentoring the team to do the same
  • Fulfilling any other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, responsible, friendly and possess a strong work ethic, with a positive attitude. Successful applicant will have to demonstrate excellent abilities in written and verbal communication skills, strengths in performance management including coaching and supervision, quality control management, results achievement, developing and understanding budgets, implementing standards, fostering teamwork and leading a high achieving, positive team. The ability to handle pressure and provide feedback to employees in tough situations is essential. A commitment to cooperative values and principles is required.

The ideal candidate will have previous Produce Management experience of 2 years or more. CRS work experience considered an asset. A combination of relevant education, food service production and experience may be considered.
