We are seeking a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our maintenance team at our Saskatoon base . This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet. The successful candidate will perform, certify, and document maintenance activities in compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company standards.
Experience working on Beechcraft King Air aircraft is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, modifications, and overhauls in accordance with approved data, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems and efficiently resolve technical issues.
Compliance & Certification
Complete and certify maintenance tasks in compliance with Transport Canada regulations, the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM), and the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM).Sign maintenance releases for aircraft and components as authorized.Parts & Materials
Ensure all parts and materials meet approved specifications and are serviceable.Follow bonded stores procedures, including proper issuance, tagging, and segregation of serviceable and unserviceable parts.Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate aircraft technical records, logbooks, inspection sheets, and maintenance documentation.Record defects, corrective actions, and maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.Safety & Quality Assurance
Ensure tools and equipment are calibrated, serviceable, and used safely.Adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies, contributing to a strong safety culture.Work closely with the Director of Maintenance and maintenance personnel to support efficient operations.Mentor apprentices and support the development of less experienced team members.Additional Duties
Assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.Participate in ongoing training to remain current with regulatory and technological changes.Qualifications & Experience
Valid and current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license with applicable ratingsMinimum 2–3 years of aircraft maintenance experience preferredStrong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations and industry standardsExperience with fixed-wing aircraft requiredExperience on Beechcraft King Air aircraft is a strong assetExcellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer
