Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management – Serve as a primary point of contact for affluent and corporate clients, fostering long-term relationships through strategic financial guidance and proactive engagement.
- Investment Strategy & Analysis – Conduct in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to support the Portfolio Manager's strategic investment recommendations.
- Portfolio Performance Optimization – Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring alignment with benchmarks and client objectives, while proactively recommending strategic adjustments to enhance returns and mitigate risk.
- Client Presentations & Communication – Develop and deliver professional presentations tailored to the specific needs of high-net-worth and corporate clients, articulating complex financial concepts with clarity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with internal specialists in financial planning, tax, and estate planning to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance & Ethical Standards – Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, compliance policies, and ethical standards, maintaining the firm’s integrity and protecting client interests.
- Financial Planning Support – Utilize Conquest software to develop and implement financial plans, aligning with client objectives and long-term strategies.
- Trade Execution & Portfolio Rebalancing – Oversee mandate allocations and execute trades with precision to manage cash flow, facilitate new client onboarding, and rebalance portfolios.
- Market & Economic Monitoring – Stay informed of financial market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to provide timely and informed recommendations.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Professional Designations – CFA or CIM designation is required; CFP, QAFP, or PFP credentials are preferred.Experience –Minimum of 7 years in investment management, financial analysis, or a related field, with a demonstrated focus on serving affluent and corporate clients.Registration as an Associate Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Manager is mandatory.Familiarity with the National Bank Independent Network (NBIN) custodial platform is considered an asset.Technical Proficiency –Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.Experience utilizing YCharts for investment research.Proficiency in Conquest financial planning software.Soft Skills & Attributes –Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts with clarity and professionalism.Proven ability to cultivate and maintain high-value client relationships.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.A collaborative and proactive approach, coupled with a commitment to integrity and excellence.Why Join This Firm?
