Physiotherapist | Community

We are hiring for a permanent part-time 0.60fte Physiotherapist for the Kelowna Community team. As a member of this team, you will be based out of the Kirschner Plaza Home and Community office. This position supports clients residing in the central Kelowna area including; Downtown, Glenmore, Pandosy-KLO and the Kelowna General Hospital area. This position requires a current valid BC class 5 drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.

Days of Work: Monday, Tuesday, Friday. Requirement to participate in team rotation for weekend coverage approximately 2-3 weekends per year.
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:30 to 16:30

About the role:
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
