Job Title : Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Worker where you will be trained on all aspects of production within our facility. You will begin in the sheer machine area, sorting rebar material by size, and will progressively learn bending, cutting, and safe material movement throughout the shop. You will receive training on all production equipment, including the Meg overhead crane, back crane operator, sheer operator, and bending machines. Based on your skills, you will be assigned to the appropriate area for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Sort rebar material based on size in the sheer machine area.
• Learn and perform bending, cutting, and safe material movement.
• Operate and become proficient with production equipment such as the overhead crane and bending machines.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

Work Environment

You will begin training on the day shift from 6am to 2 : 30pm, Monday to Friday, and then transition to the afternoon shift from 1 : 30pm to 12am, Monday to Thursday, with a $2.00 shift premium. Optional overtime is available on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. The work environment is loud and dusty, with varying temperatures : hot in summer and cold in winter, but sheltered from the elements.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 / hr.
