The Enterprise Integration Team Lead develops API services for VERB’s enterprise products. They are innate problem solvers, with the ability to translate client requests into robust technical solutions. They have a deep understanding of Dolli and act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes while also conferring with stakeholders
- Drive the project forward, both with direct reports and external team members - being a Project Champion
- Manage the project related activities of :
- Business Analysts
- Solutions Architects
- Developers
- QA Team members
- CMS Team members
- Ensure that work is assigned to and questions are answered from :
- Creative
- UI / UX
- Analytics
- Collaborate with third-party web service providers to create reusable integrations
- Identify and utilize software design patterns
- Build and track reusable code and libraries
- Document and demonstrate solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments and clear code
- Optimize applications for scalability and performance
- Debug complex issues spanning multiple systems and vendors
- Adhere to internal workflow and development standards
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders ensuring there is clear, consistent communication
- Support Project team members through highly technical tasks and be the go-to person for questions and concerns
- Provide architecture guidance and mentorship to Development team members
- Be a people manager for a cross functional team
- Interface with key stakeholders on the client and internal teams
- Escalate issues with senior leadership if the external teams are unable to action the required tasks
Requirements
10+ years of experience with PHP frameworksPost-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experienceExperience using LAMP-stack technologies and the Symfony PHP framework or similar MVC frameworksFamiliarity with modern PHP development practices and tools, including PHP7+ and ComposerExperience with API development tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger / OpenAPIFamiliar with OWASP best practicesWorking knowledge of CI processes, including automated testingFamiliarity with Web infrastructure technologies such as SSL and DNSProficient with version control systems, Git and Gitlab in particularProficient with development debugging tools and practicesHighly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environmentBenefits
