Personal Injury Lawyer

We are looking for a dedicated Personal Injury Lawyer to join our clients litigation team in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in personal injury and insurance defense, combined with a passion for advocating on behalf of plaintiffs. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, ensuring their legal rights are protected and upheld.

• Conduct thorough case analysis, including gathering evidence, interviewing clients, and preparing legal strategies.

• Manage all aspects of litigation, from initial filings through trial proceedings and settlement negotiations.

• Advise clients on legal options and guide them through complex legal processes.

• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions for challenging cases.

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.

• Conduct research to stay informed about relevant laws, precedents, and emerging trends in personal injury law.

• Advocate for clients in court, presenting cases effectively and persuasively.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and case files to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Participate in the firm’s initiatives to enhance client service and ongoing development.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in personal injury law or related insurance defense work.
• Proven trial experience and proficiency in managing litigation processes.
• Exceptional academic background, demonstrating strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of personal injury law and plaintiff litigation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively.
• Detail-oriented approach to managing case files and legal documentation.
• Licensed to practice law in Ontario.
