Role Summary :

As a Strategic Account Representative, you will be responsible for tactically managing key accounts in alignment with NDI’s company objectives and identifying / leading sales opportunities on a global scale, ensuring revenue targets are achieved. The Strategic Account Representative possesses a strong background in sales and account management, a keen understanding of market trends, and the ability to navigate complex accounts.

Scope of Responsibilities :

  • Lead the entire sales process within named accounts at a global level ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Showcase the ability to navigate complex accounts effectively across multiple business units and multiple geographies while managing existing and new opportunities.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of assigned global accounts, understanding their needs and problems they are looking to solve.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Regularly assess performance against department and individual goals and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Integrate sales skills and processes into daily activities.
  • Build trusting relationships which facilitate the sharing of vital information (i.e. OEM product roadmaps).
  • Stay informed about market trends and key industry developments to ensure alignment with NDI product roadmaps.
  • Provide strategic leadership by developing and executing comprehensive OEM account plans.
  • Align OEM account plans with NDI’s overall business objectives, including both existing business and new global opportunities.
  • Possess a strong understanding of NDI’s products to effectively communicate value propositions to assigned accounts.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage and track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Comprehend and adhere to the Quality Management System.
  • Travel outside of Canada for OEM visits, conferences etc.

Education and Professional Qualifications :

  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years sales experience is required (medical device sales preferred).
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations / requirements.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across all organizational levels, with skills in influencing, negotiating, and securing commitment at every level of an organization.
  • A sales skillset that includes drive and self-motivation, strong written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to plan, organize, close, and deliver.
  • Strong customer focus with desire to learn all aspects of the business.
  • Experience with MS Office, CRM and ERP tools.
