Integrated Systems Technician (VoIP, Security & Networking)

Job Overview

Southeastern Telecommunication Services is hiring an experienced Integrated Systems Technician to join our growing team in Kingston.

This is a hands on field based role supporting commercial clients with the installation and service of business communications, integrated security systems, and network infrastructure .

Applicants must be located in the Kingston, Ontario area or willing to relocate. This position is not remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support cloud hosted and on premise VoIP phone systems
• Deploy and troubleshoot SIP phones, voicemail, paging, and call routing
• Install and service integrated access control systems (door hardware, strikes, credential readers)
• Install and configure video surveillance systems , including IP and cloud managed cameras
• Support intercom and entry solutions such as Butterfly MX and similar platforms
• Run, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber an asset)
• Configure and troubleshoot PoE switches, routers, WiFi access points, and connected devices
• Complete onsite installations, service calls, commissioning, and preventive maintenance
• Provide professional customer support and accurate job documentation
