Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance worker is responsible for the operation and management of all aspects of maintenance inside and outside the building. To provide a safe work environment and to work safely.
• Maintenance within the building.
• Maintain all equipment of the home.
• Painting and general repairs.
• Cleaning shop, mechanical and electrical rooms.
• Must work safely, follow the Ontario Health and Safety Act and use all protective safety devices including wearing steel toe safety shoes / boots.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Maintaining Home grounds.
• Painting outside of Home and cleaning outside windows where accessible.
• Collecting garbage within the Home

Anticipated length : May - August

Hours per week may fluctuate. Some evenings and weekends are required.
