We're excited to announce a new opportunity for a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis as we continue to grow and expand our Corporate Solutions team.
Position Scope :
The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leads the financial and broad organizational planning function and supervises Financial Analysts, delivering high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, data, and analysis for informed decision-making. This role aligns financial planning with organizational goals, supports business cases and funding proposal development, and contributes to financial sustainability. The manager collaborates with the financial controller to ensure the month-end and year-end financial statements are reviewed with internal managers and adjustments and feedback are shared with the financial controller to ensure accurate financial reporting. The manager also collaborates with the Financial Controller and organizational leaders on the annual budgeting and business planning process.
Role Duties :
- Lead and manage the Financial Analyst team, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Collaborates with financial controller on the development and monitoring of organizational budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for internal managers.
- Review and guide the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the reporting of financial results to key external stakeholders including government departments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial alignment with operational goals and funding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies, funding agreements, and applicable accounting standards.
Requirements and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldCPA designation (completed or in progress; CPA PEP enrollment required)5–7 years of progressive FP&A experience, including 2+ years in a leadership roleStrong nonprofit financial management skills (budgeting, fund accounting, reporting)Proven leadership, team management, and ability to handle multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems (e.g., Xero, Hubdoc, Approval Max)Experience translating financial information for non-financial audiencesBackground in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting within diverse, multi-portfolio environmentsWhat We Offer :
