Our client, a large financial institution, is seeking an Associate to join their Trade Finance team on a 6-month contract. This role involves providing additional support to the trade finance, stock lending, and stock borrowing teams. The Trade Finance Associate will play a key role in assisting with various trade support and settlement activities, ensuring smooth operations and accurate settlement processes.
The key responsibilities include the following;
- Provide support to the trade finance, stock lending, and stock borrowing teams in daily operations
- Manage settlement processes, ensuring all trades are settled accurately and on time
- Assist in trade support functions within the middle office, collaborating with different teams to ensure seamless operations
- Utilize basic Excel skills to work with large data sets, ensuring accuracy in data management
- Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvements within the team
