Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Financial Clerk will provide support to the Infrastructure Department and will be responsible for processing a high volume of complex financial transactions.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- processing payment of Project Lead invoices for Integrated Infrastructure Services and ensure payment is made in accordance with prompt payment legislation
- receiving, reviewing and coding invoices in Markview from Project Lead
- preparing purchase requisitions in eBiz for Integrated Infrastructure Services, Infrastructure Supports and Operations, Planning and Property Management
- processing holdback release payments
- processing operational credit card expenses
- assisting the accountants with the preparation of journal entries
Education / Qualifications
completion of a post-secondary program in relevant course of studya minimum of two-years accounting experience in a computerized environmentexperience with accounts receivable and payablesability to prioritize workload to meet deadlinesexceptional customer service orientationexcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsMicrosoft Office, Google Workspace, Markview, iExpenseRate of Pay
