Delivery Consultant (Wireless Networking) – Canada

Roles and Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To :

The Delivery Consultant is a key member of the Canadian Professional Services Delivery team. The role involves working with Sales and Delivery teams to plan, design, and implement industry-recognized network and security solutions using technologies such as :

  • Expertise in Routing, Switching, Wireless, and Data Centre technologies (Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.)
  • Design, implement, and optimize wireless network solutions for clients
  • Conduct site surveys and RF analysis to ensure optimal performance
  • Strong knowledge of wireless networking protocols and standards (e.g., IEEE 802.11, Wi-Fi 6)
  • Proficiency with wireless network tools (e.g., Ekahau)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless network issues
  • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations
  • Design and implement wireless solutions such as Aruba and Cisco Wireless Controllers
  • Manage network access control solutions using Aruba ClearPass and Cisco ISE
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CWNA, CWNP, CCNP Wireless) are a plus
  • Knowledge of Security architecture, risk management, and Cybersecurity
  • Additional assets include expertise in :

o Software Defined WAN (Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud)

o Cisco DNA (Automation, Assurance, SDA)

o Cloud Network Architecture (AWS, Azure, Google)

o Cloud Security for Public Cloud

In this role, you will :

  • Assist in scoping activities for customer statements of work
  • Participate in technology assessments and discovery
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions

    • Required Skills and Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, with a strong background in network and security
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong technical writing skills for proposals and documentation
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer-facing roles
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Focus on delivery and client satisfaction

    • Experience in the following is preferred :

  • Cisco Catalyst switches (9000, 7000, 3700, 3600, 3500, 2900 series)
  • Cisco Meraki, Aruba CX Series, Aruba Wireless
  • VMware ESXi 7.x / 8.x, vSphere
  • Wireless access controllers, network access control, security enforcement
  • Cloud-based wireless solutions

    • Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), DNS, DHCP, IPv6. Willingness to travel 15-20% within Canada. Education requirements include a BSc in Computer Science or related field, or a 3-year Technologist Diploma. Certifications such as Aruba ACCP, Cisco Security Specialist, CCIE, CISSP are assets.

    To succeed, you should be energetic, motivated, disciplined, and customer-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in teams. Strategic thinking and relationship-building skills are essential.
