The opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of inclusive business propositions in the Asia region.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of the project, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of inclusive business initiatives.

On the job you will :

Develop and execute project plans for the implementation of inclusive business propositions across the Asia region alongside the Inclusive Business Task Force.

This is a key company global strategy to drive inclusive business at Manulife. Some examples of current initiatives include :

  • Engaging with local market leadership and deploying inclusive propositions ie HIV in life insurance and expanded beneficiaries; across all of Asia
  • Organising and managing local design thinking sessions to develop diverse communities customer propositions
  • Managing and organise local customer market research to support business proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize inclusive business opportunities in Asia.
  • Drive the implementation of strategies to promote inclusive business practices, fostering sustainable and impactful initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address any issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to key stakeholders, including senior management and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines, budget, and quality standards, maintaining a high level of project integrity and accountability.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the field of inclusive business or sustainable development.
  • Strong understanding of business practices in insurance in the Asia region, with a focus on inclusive and impactful initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, drive change, and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inclusive business models, social impact strategies, and sustainable development goals is highly desirable.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
