Applications Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Engineer to a dynamic engineering team within a leading energy services provider. As an applications engineer, you willoffer engineering expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams including project management, drafting, and manufacturing throughout the execution phase.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Sales and Regional Account Managers to ensure client requirements and RFP specifications are fully understood and met.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, and Process Engineering teams to develop proposal designs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and formal quotations for Alco product offerings.
• Source and evaluate vendor quotations for required equipment, assessing both technical and commercial aspects.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams such as project management, drafting, and production throughout project execution.
• Promote continuous improvement by sharing feedback and lessons learned from international proposals.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and add value across all stakeholder groups.
• Develop and initiate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Lead proposal handoff meetings post-award to communicate package requirements across departments.
• Create preliminary general arrangement drawings to support proposal development.
• Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Analyze and interpret project specifications to ensure compliance.
