What you’ll do

• Follows the direction of the Optical Center manager to maximize sales and profits of the Optical Center
• Assist in training Optical Center associates to educate them on glasses, frames, and contact lenses
• Participate in the execution of marketing programs and promotional activities as per Company expectations
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining stock
• Support and uphold the Company values of respect for the person, customer service, and excellence
• Ensure image standards of the Optical Center and maintain a clean environment for associates, patients, and physicians
• Receive and evaluate orders by written prescriptions from clients or physicians
• Maintain safe working conditions, including proper equipment maintenance and adherence to emergency guidelines to protect the optical team and the public
• Follow and enforce provincial and federal guidelines related to dispensing glasses with or without a prescription

Minimum qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• License - Optician License - glasses and contact lenses
