We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to join our head office located in Vernon , British Columbia. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications :
- A minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in an equivalent administrative role.
- Relevant post-secondary education is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organization, clear communication, attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
- Experience planning and managing events and meetings, preparing and coordinating presentations, and managing calendars is required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to connect strategies to decision making that support business growth.
- General knowledge of the forest industry is considered an asset.

In this role you will :
- Provide support to the Vice President People and Services and to the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Logistics in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Aid the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Logistics direct reports with coordinating key team functions, driving team reporting, contributing to projects and events aligned with business strategies.
- Support the People & Services team with various programs and initiatives.
- Interact with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and stakeholders.
- Network and maintain positive connections.
- Contribute to business success.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to produce compelling product content.
