Your new role
Design and analyze structures for new builds, renovations, restorations, and rehabilitation work. Assess existing buildings using a solid understanding of different materials and structural systems. Produce detailed drawings, reports, and technical specifications. Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly. Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and budgets.plete site reviews, handle contract administration duties, and support construction teams with practical guidance.
What you'll need to succeed
Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master’s in Structural Engineering is considered a strong advantage. At least 5 years of structural engineering experience in buildings, including work on existing structures and new institutional,mercial, or residential projects. Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for registration with APEGA. Strong structural engineering and materials knowledge, along with proficiency in design software like S‑Frame, ETABS, and spSlab, plus familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit. Solidmunication skills, strong attention to detail, good time management, and confidence using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
