Position : Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) Consultant Location : 100% Remote Salary : Commensurate with experience Job Type : 1-year contract Work Schedule : 4 or 5 days a week Are you a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of RESP accounts and a keen understanding of the intricacies surrounding contributions, grants, and beneficiary requirements? Position Overview : We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our client, a Quebec-based financial institution's team, as a Remote RESP Consultant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and managing various client transactions related to RESP accounts, with a specific focus on the Kyndryl-SIS platform (IBM, OSS, ISM). The position involves working on special projects, collaborating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, especially with Revenue Quebec and HRSDC. Responsibilities : - Manage a large set of transactions with the vendor and Revenue Quebec, ensuring accurate and timely processing of filings and corrections - Oversee and be hands-on in reviewing procedures, processes, and rules related to RESP accounts - Conduct in-depth analysis of data, identify system breaks, and reconcile discrepancies - Navigate the complexities of grants versus capital within RESP accounts - Collaborate directly with the vendor and Revenue Quebec to address any issues and ensure seamless operations - Work on special projects related to RESP transactions with Revenue Quebec and HRSDC Qualifications : - Bilingual proficiency is mandatory to communicate with the vendor outside of Quebec - Extensive experience with RESP accounts, including a deep understanding of notional requirements, contributions, and various grants - Familiarity with the Kyndryl-SIS platform (IBM, OSS, ISM) is a significant plus - Strong analytical skills to identify system breaks and reconcile data discrepancies - Proven ability to manage special projects and work collaboratively with vendors and regulatory bodies - Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a focus on attention to detail Please send your resume in Word format to Maia Slivinschi at maia.slivinschi@quantum.ca.
