Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Change Management and Corporate Training to lead our organization through change initiatives and oversee company-wide training efforts.
This individual will manage a remote team distributed across various provinces in Canada, focusing on corporate training, online learning platforms, and project management.
Additionally, they will manage communications regarding change management and training to ensure our teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge of the products and processes we are implementing
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions across departments and teams.
- Oversee the company’s corporate training efforts, including both in-person and online learning, with a focus on continuous improvement and effective delivery.
- Manage a team responsible for training, project management, and online learning platform.
- Provide leadership and support to a geographically distributed team located across various provinces in Canada.
- Manage the team responsible for training sales divisions on chemical products and equipment.
- Lead corporate communications around learning, change management, and updates, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Drive the creation and delivery of comprehensive reports on mandatory training completion for managers across the company.
- Provide expertise and support to departments dealing with organizational changes, ensuring effective communication and minimizing disruptions.
- Manage the corporate training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of training and change management strategies with the overall company strategy.
- Support the implementation and adoption of AI tools and technologies, ensuring the company stays competitive in a digital environment.
- Contribute to ERP implementation strategies and integration where necessary.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Celoxis) to effectively manage projects and track progress across the team.
- Talent Development : Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization. Identify and develop potential leaders for succession planning.
- Process Documentation : Develop and document clear processes for how the training team operates, ensuring transparency and consistency in team activities.
- HR Management : Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members. Manage employee relations, retention, and back up & succession planning for the training team
To perform, you need to :
- Fully bilingual (English and French) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills as this position will be in communication with a diverse team speaking both English and French.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, people management, and change management.
- Experience in managing remote teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Experience in a national, manufacturing, or distribution company environment, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics.
- Familiarity with ERP implementation and AI tools is a strong asset.
- Good knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Celoxis) to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team across various training and change management initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
- Proven experience in managing corporate training programs, budget oversight, and developing impactful training strategies.
