What the Production Student is about :
Meet or exceed productivity goals and quality standards. Support job functions on the production floor, provide coverage of vacation time during summer months. This is a temporary position to cover summer shifts from May to August 2025. The ideal candidate is a student currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
Work in compliance with safety standards and Good Manufacturing Principles
Monitor and operate production equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues
Complete required paperwork
Take samples to be tested for food quality
Sanitize and clean production area
Regular manual material handling up to 25 kg All other duties as assigned
What you need to be a Production Student :
High School diploma
Capable of working both independently and in a team
Demonstrates some mechanical aptitude
Ability to exercise good judgment and a conscious concern for safety
Manual lifting up to 25kgs
Previous experience working in a dairy / food manufacturing environment is considered an asset
Must be open for shift work including weekends, holidays, afternoon, and night shift.
