They are equally a technology company which has built an in-house software platform that is a no-code configurable platform for the distribution of financial products since 2020.
They are currently looking for a Director of Data and Artificial Intteligence. As Director of Data and Artificial Intelligence, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall strategy for managing and leveraging data, while overseeing the development and integration of artificial intelligence solutions. Acting as a bridge between IT and business teams, you will transform data and AI into strategic levers for performance, innovation, and value creation.

We are looking for a person heavily focused on Analytics, Data Strategy and BI implementation. This person should have experience with complex and in-depth data sets, ideally from Fintech or Saas based environments. They work heavily with Power BI and would like someone with a strong background in that tool or very similar. In terms of the AI side, they would like someone forward thinking with some exposure to Predictive Modeling however not looking for a MLengineer.
This role would be reporting directly to the CEO and will have to deal with VP of product and large volume B2B commercial brokers. Given this, communication is key in French and English.
The current team is working with a couple of strong consultants. This person will be looking to build a small internal team in time. For the beginning it will be mainly focusing on the Analytics side and then evolve into more AI aspects and how adoption of some could help the business.

Data Governance and Strategy
Define and lead the company’s data management, governance, and value creation strategy.
Ensure the quality, security, integrity, and regulatory compliance of data.
Guarantee availability and accessibility of data for authorized stakeholders.
Prioritize, design, optimize, and deploy reports and dashboards.
Analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
Identify areas of internal inefficiency, make recommendations, and implement initiatives to improve efficiency.
Data Engineering and Transformation
Supervise the design and operationalization of data pipelines.
Maintain a modern and scalable data architecture.
Define standards for documentation and traceability.
Analytical Products
Define key indicators supporting strategic objectives.
Oversee the design and delivery of analytical products.
Promote the adoption of analytical tools across the organization.
AI Development
Ensure continuous monitoring of AI technologies.
Select, prioritize, and oversee AI projects.
Supervise the development and maintenance of AI solutions.
Establish ethical and responsible AI practices.
Leadership and Management
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team.
Collaborate with business units to ensure strategic alignment and to understand operations.
Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines.
Represent the company with external partners and institutions.
Have a University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in computer Engineering.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology and analytics project management role, including 2 years of management experience.
Have proven skills in data governance and architecture.
Have a track record of achievements in implementing AI solutions.
Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, particularly in order to explain technical complexities to various internal stakeholders.
Demonstrate a clear return on investment for data and AI projects.
Promote the adoption of analytical and intelligent solutions.
Position the organization as an innovative and responsible player.
Demonstrate good work organization, rigor, and results orientation.
Be bilingual to be able to collaborate frequently with French and English-speaking partners and suppliers.
