10-month contract. On-site in Cambridge, ON.Job Description : As a Robotics Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our automotive paint shop operations. Your expertise in programming and coordinating robotic systems will be essential in maintaining high standards and continuous improvement in our processes.Key Responsibilities : Program and Optimize Paint Shop Robots : Develop and fine-tune programs for paint shop robots to ensure precise and efficient operations.Quality Adjustment Trials : Coordinate and conduct trials to adjust and enhance the quality of paint processes.Simulation Studies and Programs : Utilize robot simulation software to perform and create detailed studies and programs for process improvements.Quality Evaluation : Assess and ensure the quality of paint applications using tools such as elcometers, wavescan, x-rite, and other relevant equipment.Documentation : Create comprehensive handover documentation for robotic processes to be used by North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMCs).Cross-Functional Collaboration : Lead, plan, and coordinate with various teams including plant operations, production, pilot projects, and other engineering groups to ensure seamless communication and project execution.Requirements : Experience or at least familiarity with Digital Robot Engineering, CATIA, AutoCAD.Need someone who is self-motivated, work enthusiast, good in time management, etc.Manager needs entry level candidates with either a Technical Degree or having relevant experience and skills needed of at least 2-3 years.Compensation : $35 / hr to $42 / hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
