Our client in Niagara Region , ON is actively looking for a Millwright to join their team.

Position Description :

Perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on various steel production and support equipment, including :

Electric Arc Furnace

Ladle Furnace

Vacuum Degasser (VDG)

Argon Oxygen Decarburizer (AOD)

Billet caster

Grinders and saws

Annealing furnaces

Diesel locomotives

Overhead cranes

• Install, maintain, and repair heavy industrial systems and components , such as bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, hoists, mobile equipment, fans, blowers, heat exchangers, and cooling towers.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals to identify mechanical issues, plan repair or installation work, and determine required materials or tools.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional maintenance and operational support tasks as assigned.
