Responsibilities Tasks

Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs

Provide information to workers and managers / employers on methods to reduce the risk of injury or illness

Prepare final financial and other reports

Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures

Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies

Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods

Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff

Establish and co‑ordinate administrative policies and procedures

Establish and implement policies and procedures

Establish and implement policies and procedures for accounting and financial control

Ensure compliance with government regulations

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Develop policies and procedures to implement programs

Develop risk management plans

Perform human resources related duties such as personnel selection

Identify human resources requirements

Ensure transport compliance with regulations

Plan and manage the facility's operations budget

Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements

Review budgets and spending to ensure departments operate within funding limits

Review budgets and financial reports for specific projects

Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization

Evaluate financial risk

Enforce municipal and provincial regulations
