Responsibilities
- Apply strong decision-making and communication skills to all security and safety duties
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed at all times
- Follow site-specific Post Orders
- Complete required site-specific training and follow direction from Client Service Managers or Supervisors
- Conduct traffic and pedestrian control at site access points
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security
- Monitor environments for safety hazards and infractions
- Observe, report, and respond to security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations
- Provide assistance to individuals in need of support
- Contact emergency responders such as police, fire, or ambulance services when required
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity
- Respond to inquiries and information requests in a professional manner
- Utilize two-way radios and computer applications effectively
- Act with professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Promote workplace safety and support fellow team members

Must live within 30 minutes of Grande PrairieMust have full availability during the weekMust be able to obtain and maintain an Alberta Security LicenseAvailability for a variety of shifts, including overnights and weekendsValid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicleFirst Aid and CPR Level C certificationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional demeanorAbility to write comprehensive reports and maintain detailed site logsAbility to make sound decisions independently while remaining composed in emergenciesHigh level of discretion when handling confidential informationAbility to perform under pressure and in adverse situationsAbility to walk 18–20 km per shift and climb stairsLegally authorized to work in CanadaBenefits
