We are seeking a part‑time (0.50 FTE) Educational Assistant to commence as soon as possible and for the remainder of the 2025‑2026 school year. This assignment involves assisting with student educational program needs including social skills, behaviour skills, and self‑help and personal care needs. The position requires a compassionate and energetic individual to work in a team environment.

Cold Lake High School

Located in the City of Cold Lake, the high school serves approximately 580 students in grades 10‑12. It is an innovative, collaborative and passionate environment focused on delivering high‑quality education for every student.

Preference Will Be Given To Applicants Who Have

• Post‑Secondary training and/or experience as an Educational Assistant
• Knowledge and experience with behavioural strategies
• Experience working one‑on‑one and/or in group settings
• Knowledge of documentation procedures and proficiency with computers
• Knowledge and experience in alternate communication strategies
• Experience assisting students with self‑help and personal care needs
• Familiarity with strategies to address different learning styles and experience with Individual Program Plans

Training and skills that would be an asset include

• Relative experience in educational assistance, nursing and/or rehabilitation
• SIVA and/or Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention training
