Purpose : To provide the Plant with a high level of maintenance expertise that ensures company objectives are supported, maintenance goals are efficiently and effectively met, departmental downtime goals and preventative maintenance schedules are achieved. To carry out equipment and building repairs as required, while adhering to quality, safety, food safety and legislative standards and guidelines.Schedule : Sunday to Wednesday 8 : 30am - 7 : 00pm

Job Functions / Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory
• Complete work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and / or Senior Management
• Perform Equipment change-over’s and production line set up
• General Housekeeping – maintain tools, shop area and parts storage in good working order
• Perform other duties as required.
