RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE

Le comptable corporatif joue un rôle stratégique en pilotant des initiatives globales de transformation financière. Ce rôle est fortement axé sur la gestion de projets et exige une collaboration étroite entre équipes, départements et studios dans plusieurs pays.

RESPONSABILITÉS CLÉS

  • Piloter des projets globaux majeurs dans la transformation financière incluant l’automatisation des processus, la mise en place et le déploiement de solutions technologiques telles que OCR, module PO, intégration ERP.
  • Assurer le leadership dans les projets d'intégration financière de studios situés en Europe et en Océanie, en harmonisant les processus comptables et financiers.
  • Coordonner la standardisation des processus au sein du groupe afin d'assurer l'uniformité, d'améliorer l'efficacité et de maintenir des normes de qualité élevées. Rationaliser les procédures pour aligner les départements et les régions, améliorant ainsi la performance globale. Surveiller et affiner les processus pour garantir une cohérence continue et une amélioration.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes financières locales et internationales pour assurer une adoption fluide des nouveaux processus et outils.
  • Assurer une veille constante des meilleures pratiques dans l'industrie des effets visuels pour aligner les initiatives financières sur les exigences spécifiques de l'industrie.

Sa passion pour l’industrie des effets spéciaux combinée à son expertise financière fait de lui un acteur clé dans la stratégie de croissance internationale de l'entreprise.

  • Diplôme universitaire en comptabilité, finance ou domaine connexe; un titre CPA ou équivalent est un atout important.
  • Connaissance approfondie de l'industrie des effets spéciaux (VFX), ses défis opérationnels et financiers spécifiques.
  • Compétences démontrées en communication et collaboration interfonctionnelle, inter-départementale et internationale.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément dans un environnement complexe et dynamique.
  • Maîtrise courante du français et de l'anglais, de façon à interagir avec vos collègues des autres provinces, des États-Unis, de l’Australie et de l’Angleterre.
  • Expertise technique en systèmes comptables, ERP (SAP, NetSuite, etc.), solutions OCR, modules PO, et outils d'automatisation financière.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Corporate Accountant plays a key role in driving global financial transformation projects. This position, focused on managing complex projects, requires strong collaboration across various teams, departments, and studios across multiple countries.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership in international financial integration : Oversee financial integration projects for studios located in Europe and Oceania, aligning and harmonizing accounting and financial processes to ensure global consistency.
  • Coordinate the standardization of processes across the group to ensure uniformity, enhance efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards. Streamline procedures to align departments and regions, improving overall performance. Implement clear, repeatable steps for tasks to reduce errors and support scalable growth. Monitor and refine processes to ensure continued consistency and improvement.
  • Work closely with local and international financial teams to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Handle aspects of financial consolidation to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting across the organization.
  • Industry research and continuous improvement : Maintain a constant watch on best practices within the visual effects (VFX) industry to align financial initiatives with the sector's unique requirements.

    The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and able to build strong collaboration across multicultural teams. With a solid understanding of the visual effects industry and a robust financial background, this individual will be key in driving the company’s international growth strategy while supporting financial consolidation efforts.

  • Education : University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.
  • Industry expertise : Strong knowledge of the visual effects (VFX) industry and its specific financial and operational challenges.
  • Communication skills : Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional, inter-departmental, and international teams, including close collaboration with the Global Controller on consolidation tasks.
  • Project management skills : Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Languages : Fluency in both French and English, enabling effective communication with teams across different countries
  • Technical expertise : Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software (SAP, NetSuite, etc.), as well as experience with OCR solutions, PO modules, and financial automation tools.
