Pay Range : Up to $50 per hour based on experience.

Employment Type : This is a full-time contract position for six months, with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. IT Lead Recruiter to join our team in Vancouver, BC, to "force multiply" our recruiting efforts and contribute to long-term staffing strategies.

Position Overview :

The Sr. IT Lead Recruiter will play a pivotal role in sourcing, qualifying, and preparing candidates for IT roles while supporting other recruiters to achieve outstanding results. This individual will take ownership of their own recruitment processes while also developing talent pipelines, fostering long-term relationships with candidates, and providing strategic guidance to our recruiting team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and experienced in working with Recruiter, job boards, and ATS platforms like TextKernal built on Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment and Sourcing :

  • Conduct full lifecycle recruitment for IT positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to clients.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using Recruiter, job boards, and ATS platforms.
  • Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines to ensure a steady flow of top-tier candidates for current and future needs.

Team Collaboration and Force Multiplication :

  • Partner with and support other recruiters by assisting in sourcing, qualifying, and preparing candidates.
  • Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to enhance team recruiting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to prepare candidates for interviews, negotiate offers, and close placements.
  • Candidate Relationship Management :

  • Meet with job candidates weekly to build strong relationships and provide career guidance.
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, and other local opportunities to expand the candidate pool.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Client Engagement :

  • Interact with clients to understand their hiring needs, provide updates on search progress, and build long-term partnerships.
  • Attend client meetings and on-site visits as needed in the Vancouver area.
  • Strategic Recruitment Initiatives :

  • Develop and implement long-term recruitment strategies, including talent pipelining and pooling.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruiting methods.
  • Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a full lifecycle recruiter, preferably in the IT staffing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, including Recruiter, job boards, and ATS platforms (TextKernal and Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Ability to mentor and support other recruiters to improve team performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and clients.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to implement long-term recruiting initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while being available for local travel within Vancouver.
  • Knowledge of the Vancouver IT job market is a strong asset.
