A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics Responsibilities LAN / WAN management : Administer and supervise network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), ensuring their configuration, maintenance and evolution.* Monitoring and security : Implement network monitoring tools to detect malfunctions or intrusions, manage backups and security updates, and ensure compliance with IT security policies.* Support and troubleshooting : Provide technical support to users concerning network problems (connection, performance, access to network services) and quickly resolve network incidents.* Performance optimization : Analyze network performance, identify congestion points, and recommend improvement solutions or equipment upgrades.* Technical documentation management : Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, protocols, accesses, equipment configurations and network diagrams.* Collaboration with IT teams : Work closely with development, support and security teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and online services.* Technology watch : Keep abreast of new technologies and best practices in network management and cybersecurity to anticipate necessary developments. Qualifications Hard Skill* Experience in setting up and optimizing network infrastructures* Expertise in configuring routers, switches and APs in an SD-WAN (NaaS) environment* Expertise and mastery of network protocols and different OSI layers* In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies (LTE, Wifi 5, 6, 6E, RF)* Expertise in setting up and configuring firewalls (Palo Alto, check point, Umbrella or others)* Expertise in setting up and configuring network equipment* Proficiency in setting up and configuring VPNs* Knowledge of Python or other code is a plus* Creation of technical documentation, support* Management of incident, request and problem tickets* Knowledge of Meraki equipment is a plusSoft Skill* Bachelor's degree in computer science,* 3 years' professional experience as a network administrator* Passionate about IT intelligence* Self-starter* Team player* Motivated* Strong in proposing solutions* Proactive and reactive* Excellent communication skills* Resourceful and open-minded* Ability to travel regularly within Canada and internationally* Driver's license required At Intelcom | Dragonfly , you’ll thrive in a flexible and stimulating environment, surrounded by passionate talent.
