Quality Assurance Specialist

Pacific Programming and Tech Inc., a computer software development firm based out of Montreal, QC, is currently looking for an experienced QA Specialist in the field of manual and automated testing for our Montreal-office location. We are currently offering a unique hybrid-work environment which includes a combined schedule of remote work-from-home days and in-office days for collaborative work.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Implementation of test plans, test cases and documentation, completion of operating instructions for product testing at an enterprise level.
• Ensure functionality meets requirements.
• Identify and write up bugs using clear reproduction steps.
• Run test suites against new functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure overall product quality and reliability.
• Work closely with the development team.
• Support our products against reported problems in an appropriate way.
• Escalate issues to team leads

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience working with Azure DevOps and Playwright.
• Experience designing and writing test cases.
• 3+ years in a Quality Assurance role is ideal.
• Experience working in a continuous integration and development environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Process orientated mindset

Good to Have

• Experience working with API tests.
• Database/SQL knowledge.
• Experience in code/scripting language such as Python, Javascript
• Experience with systems that process large data
