We are looking for Management System Administrator to join us on our journey to a Brighter Future

The Document Management System (DMS) currently used is BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2018R2. This system is used to store and manage all engineering documentation which we create for our clients and is key in maintaining our ability to function as an efficient engineering group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the DMS, will trouble shoot issues, support users and deal with the system developers as required.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Responding to user support calls / emails.
  • Coordination of tickets with Meridian developer.
  • Coordination with ESB IT Services on system related items.
  • Coordination and testing of changes / upgrades to the system.
  • Performing Administration tasks (creation of new user profiles, new project folders etc)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Working as part of this dynamic team, you will always have new challenges and new problems to solve – working together is key. You will have the autonomy to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems with the support of your colleagues.

Essential

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience with a document management system
  • General understanding of Document Management Principles, Databases, Networking and Client \ Server Applications
  • Ability to follow proven procedures to maintain Vault Security model, taxonomy and operation
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Desirable

  • Proficiency using Microsoft SQL Server management studio
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & / or MicroStation
  • Excellent knowledge of Meridian or similar DMS.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • A knowledge of BIM processes and systems.
  • Qualifications

    Essential

  • Either 3rd Level IT / Engineering qualification or equivalent work experience is essential
