AltaGas - Warehouse Technician

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Warehouse/Inventory Technician is responsible for maintaining the proficient and seamless operation of the inventory and warehouse across NEBC. The incumbent will be charged with the accurate coding, detail confirmation, and timely processing of warehouse materials.

You will:

• Maintaining up-to-date inventory records and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

• Organize the warehouse and manage packaging, shipping, receiving, and delivery of materials.

• Receive materials according to purchase orders and packing slips and enter all materials into the computer system.

• Record shortages and reject damaged goods.

• Conduct warehouse counts as required.

• Maintain inventory in Maximo, including receipts, picking, and tracking storage locations.

• Ensure materials are safely stored in the correct locations at each facility.

• Drive long distances to deliver the different facilities across NEBC

You have:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.

• Excellent computer skills, Maximo & Excel knowledge is an asset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of inventory controls.

• Familiarity with oil and gas terminology.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Ability to drive long distances with a clean driving record.

• Warehouse Certification would be an asset

Compensation:

We offer a competitive base salary range of $62,900 - $81,700 per year for this position, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. We are also proud to provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
