Senior Capital Markets Business Analyst

Schedule Hours : 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Typical Day in the Role :
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gathers requirements from business units and documents findings related to the project
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Reporting on work stream status to internal stakeholder, preparing presentations on project updates
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for raising any risks and areas of concern related to the project
Must Have Skills :
- 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 5 years experience working in a Capital Markets environment
- Prior experience with Data / Process mapping
- Prior experience with Postman, Fenergo, and or Droit
- Strong familiarity with PowerBI and SharePoint
Nice to Have Skills
Prior experience working on a Regulatory Implementation project
Soft Skills
- Excellent oral / written communication, relationship management, and time management skills
- Fast learner with strong analytical skills and improvement mindset.
Best vs Average : The ideal candidate would be a senior Business Analyst having worked previously within one of the big 5 Canadian Banks on a Cap Markets project
Education :
University degree in business, finance or other relevant field preferred
