Engineering Lead

As Rimrock Banff prepares to re-emerge as the first Emblems Collection retreat in North America we are setting new standards for modern mountain luxury where exceptional guest experiences rely on exceptional operations behind the scenes.

The Engineering Lead plays a vital role in maintaining and elevating the hotels infrastructure and technical performance ensuring every system functions seamlessly to support guest comfort and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering this role blends hands-on technical expertise team leadership and operational precision to deliver safe efficient and reliable building systems across the resort.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems including HVAC boilers refrigeration pumps and related process equipment.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of the pool and spa facilities company vehicles laundry equipment and hotel temperature monitoring and control systems.
• Perform duties in alignment with 5th Class Power Engineer requirements and provincial regulations including hands-on work.
• Collect compile and analyze equipment performance data; monitor trends and proactively respond to anomalies.
• Maintain and update detailed logbooks process documentation and compliance records.
• Conduct and audit scheduled equipment and machine checks ensuring adherence to safety and maintenance protocols.
