Position : Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Month end
  • Financial Statement
  • Reviews journal entries, reconciliations and ajustments
  • Analyse financial data and provide insight on cost savings
  • Review the job costing and work-in-progres (WIP) reports to ensure proper cost allocation and revenue recognition
  • Assist in the development and execution of integration plans for accounting processes and financial operations of newly acquired entities.
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Internal controls and compliance
  • Qualifications

    For this position, the following requirements are necessary :

  • Bachelor degree and / or CPA designation (or in progress)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of accounting principles of ASPE and / or IFRS.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong process implementation / improvement skills
  • Good command of Excel and ERP software
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
