Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Manager, National Assurance Standards who can work remote within any of our Canadian offices to join our National Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities :

  • Providing guidance and performing research to assist individuals in the Firm’s local offices on assurance and related services matters.
  • Providing consultation and assistance to assurance teams on complex matters.
  • Developing assurance and related services publications, manuals, and other practice tools for both internal and external distribution.
  • Striving for efficiency in reviewing forms and policies, ensuring that standards and quality are met on a national level.
  • Designing and delivering effective assurance and related services training programs for partners and staff, including live instructor-led training, web-based training, and virtual instructor-led training.
  • Developing or enhancing Firm policies relating to assurance and related services standards.

  • You have a CPA designation (or foreign equivalent)
  • You have a minimum of 5 years (post designation) of assurance and related services standards experience
  • You have a strong proficiency in Canadian assurance and related services standards
  • You have experience in delivering training and presentations, including development of relevant materials
  • You have effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • You possess a basic understanding of other standards, policies and procedures including accounting standards (ASPE and ASNPO), risk management, independence, tax, etc.
