The Company and The Role :
Our client aleading investment firmis searching for 2 experienced ( French / English) Translatorsto join their team.Depending on if you prefer a contract or a permanent role, you will find both opportunities to be very challenging and interesting! As a vital contributor withintheir Legal and or Financial Services Translation teams, you will be responsible for editing and proofreading the translation of a variety of documents including, but not limited to, mutual fund regulatory documentation, including financial and legal documentation.
Both are exciting roles for someone who wants to learn emerging translation technology and be asked to participate in a varietyof translation projects! You will coordinate with the Manager to oversee all incoming translation requests according to priorities and to meet deadlines.
What Makes You A Fit :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in translation, preferably mutual fund regulatory documentation, including financial and legal documentation in a structured environment
- BA in Translation from a recognized institution is a MUST.
- Membership of a recognized professional association such as the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario is an asset
- Ability to translate in both English and French languages with accuracy and appropriate style.
- Proficiency with Trados and neural translation software.
