Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Part Time

Location : Villa Care Centre, 658 King Street, Midland, Ontario.

Jarlette Health Services is inviting applications for a Part‑time Personal Support Worker (PSW) role.

Job Overview

As a Personal Support Worker, you are an integral part of the health care team, and in this role, you will encourage, support, and promote independence for our residents by assisting with activities of daily living under the direction of our registered staff.

Qualifications

• PSW Certificate Program with a minimum of 600 hours in duration or a grandfathered PSW / HCA that meets the requirements in subsection (3).O. Reg 79 / 10, s. 47 (1) of the LTCH Act, 2007.
• Candidates also considered who are enrolled in a RN or RPN program in Ontario.
• Experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology) setting is an asset.
• Good communication skills.
• Active interest in ongoing education.
• A caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members.
• Understanding of the demands and rewards of the role.
