ABOUT THE ROLE
Director of Allocations is responsible for driving sales to meet company objectives by overseeing all aspects of sales, planning, and forecasting in Canada. This role will collaborate with GMM on Strategic initiatives, long term planning and financial analysis and partner with other leaders to build systems, processes, and efficiencies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build Sales and Inventory plans by Brand, Category, and Territory.
- Lead Planning team to develop and execute merchandise plans, forecasting, and ensuring product purchases adhere to plan.
- Ensure that we are delivering the right product to the right stores at the right time :
- communicate with other key members of Buying, Planning, and Allocations to deliver business goals by ensuring the product is available in the DC for distribution.
- Approve all plans for the OTB inventory, sales, and receipts based on company targets.
- Ensure Planners and Buyers manage to the OTB, and bulks based on planned and actualized sales, and monthly ending inventory targets.
- Regularly communicate current position, opportunities, and liabilities to executive team.
- Manage seasonal merchandise How strategies to maximize sales.
- Develop strong relationships between Planning, Merchandising, and Allocation to ensure great team work.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to develop processes and systems to support accurate forecasting, replenishment, and allocations.
- Recruit and develop high-performance Planning and Allocation Team.
- Coach and counsel the Planning and Allocation team on a regular basis. Conduct annual performance reviews and provide continual feedback on performance.

Bachelor's DegreeMinimum 8+ years of Retail Planning experienceMinimum 5+ years of Management experienceAdvanced computer skills (Excel - pivot table / v-lookups / etc., Word, Internet)The pay range for this role is $150,000-$175,000 / yr CAD.
