The Role

We're seeking a talented and passionate Backend Developer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in building the scalable and robust foundation of our platform. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing key backend functionalities that power ScholarLink\'s AI-driven matching system, user management, data pipelines, and more.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, and product managers to understand user needs and translate them into robust backend solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and secure backend APIs using strong programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Django, Spring).
• Implement efficient data structures and algorithms to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the platform.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services to enable core functionalities.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing coding best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot backend issues to ensure smooth platform operation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend development technologies and trends.
