We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Transportation to join our growing Canadian Operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering, design, and coordination on large-scale projects including highways, roads, transit, and multi-modal infrastructure (LRT / BRT). The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams across Ontario, Canada, North America, and GHD’s global network.

Key responsibilities include :

• Leading transportation engineering design for roadway, highway, and multi-modal projects.
• Coordinating civil deliverables, drawings, and details from conception to final design using Civil 3D.
• Leading small teams of engineers and designers, mentoring junior staff.
• Reviewing models, drawings, and technical documents, ensuring high standards and minimal guidance.
• Collaborating across disciplines and communicating effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Maintaining contact with clients, municipalities, utility companies, and sub-consultants.
• Overseeing report and contract document preparation.
• Participating in various procurement environments and adhering to GHD standards.
